Installing a Perko selector switch

I have a 8MR2084K and I was going to install an isolator to run two batteries but I don't have the sence signal. I was going to purchase a new alternator but I was told I may want to install a Perko switch instead. Will my alternator charge both batteries at once with the selector switch on "both"? Is it strong enough?

Thanks in advance

Good day, I think we talked about this over the phone, or maybe it was something similar. But the 8MR2084 needs power to the B+ terminal to work so the Perko switch could take care of your problems. Do you need the switch to turn off the batteries because they will sit for a long time not running? Otherwise, use no switch at all.
