Good day, you need to make sure that your battery cables are in good working order. Best way to determine that, is by doing a voltage drop test. And are your batteries in good condition? It is possible with the soft start that the starter will spin and not engage, which would indicate a possible defective starter, are you using the relay that came attached to the starter?? I have attached the wiring diagram for your starter, give me a call at 512-673-3880, thanks.
