WHAT DO WE DO WITH SPACER ON OLD STARTER

CUSTOMER HAS A 1993 PETERBILT WITH A N14 -430HP CUMMINS ENGINE. ORIGINAL DELCO REMY NUMBER IS 10461053. IM GIVING HIM AN M110R2615SE (M110615). CUSTOMER IS ASKING WHAT DOES HE DO WITH SPACER ON OLD STARTER? DOES HE ELIMINATE SPACER? AND WONT LEECE NEVILLE STARTER GEAR HIT FLYWHEEL.?

Good day, I thought I answered this through my phone, but it didn't work. You must use the spacer that was originally on you engine, if you do NOT use the spacer then the starter will be too close to the ring gear and will not work correctly.
