Wiring a Bosch alternator

Hi, I am fitting a BXH1236A alternator to an off road buggy and I want to keep the wiring as simple as possible, can you help, I'm using a simple on/off switch for the ignition and I have an alternator light which I understand I need to connect to the D- terminal, but after that I'm at a bit of a loss. Thanks, Rodney.

Good day, can't really help you much, this site is for Leece Neville products. But I did try to find out what you have and try to answer your questions but I can't do anything with that part number, even the Bosch website couldn't tell me what you have. One thing to look for, is to see if it might be ignition excite. B+ and B- are self explanatary, D+ is usually for the warning light, I is usually ignition, W or R is usually a stator connection for the tach. Should have bought a Leece Neville. Good Luck and have a great day
